What a weekend. The Gods of Miserable Weather stayed well clear of Gladstone and, while no records were set, two days of great racing were had. Even better, not one off; every one and every bike went home in one bit. So, a big shout out, ‘Well Done and Thank You!’ from the committee to everyone who took part over the two days.
A bigger shout out is due to Jay Lawrence who took home the much-coveted King of the Cliffhanger trophy after beating Nathan Kent by less than a quarter of a second. But the biggest shout out is probably owed to TSS who lent Jay their KTM RCR demo bike to do it on. Blimey, it’s not like Jay hasn’t got form…
