The annual Cliffhanger Promotions Motorcycle Sprints will be taking place on Sunday, 10 November 2024 on the East-West Access Road, Western Lake in the South Wairarapa.

Take advantage of the safety of a closed road and our timing gear to find out how fast your bike (or you!) can go on the flying quarter mile and how quickly it (or you!) can accelerate in the standing quarters.

Costs

The cost is $125.00 for a full day or $90.00 if you pay before 5 November 2024. 

We may also be able to offer pay-on-the-day, afternoon-only bookings at $60.00 but these will be subject to availability as preference will be given for full-day bookings.

Back protectors are mandatory.  We have a limited number that can be hired for $10.00 if you don’t have one.

Spectators are free.

Please note, that because we have a lot of up-front fixed costs (road closure, ambulance hire etc.), we cannot offer refunds of pre-payments in the event we have to cancel the event (and there is no backup date in the event of cancellation).

Information for participants

To take part you must have a well-maintained machine, good quality riding gear (full face helmet, proper motorcycle boots, gloves, leather or kevlar riding kit and back-protector). Full details are on the entry form.
